1. Work Made for Hire Declaration
The undersigned Contractor acknowledges and agrees that the photo/video/music described below (“Works”) have been specially commissioned by Nadya Tolokonnikova / Pussy Riot Art LLC and are to be considered
works made for hire as defined by the United States Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 101.
2. Assignment of Rights
To the extent that the Works do not qualify as works made for hire under applicable law, the Contractor hereby irrevocably assigns, transfers, and conveys to Nadya Tolokonnikova all right, title, and interest in and to the Works, including but not limited to all copyrights and all rights of reproduction, distribution, public display, and modification, in all media, worldwide and in perpetuity.
3. Waiver of Moral Rights
Contractor irrevocably waives all moral rights in the Works to the maximum extent permitted by law, including the right to attribution and the right to object to derogatory treatment of the Works.
4. Ownership and Use
The Works shall be the sole and exclusive property of Nadya Tolokonnikova. She may use the Works in any way, including but not limited to streaming, media, exhibitions, publications, archival use, promotional activities, derivative works, licensing, or sale.
5. Acknowledgment
By signing or submitting this form, the Contractor affirms that:
- They created the Works at the request of Nadya Tolokonnikova or her representatives;
- They understand the Works are works made for hire, and if not, they assign all rights in the Works to the Licensee;
- They have not previously assigned or licensed any rights in the Works to any other person or entity.
