Putin and his team are looking warily at Egypt and Libya. The Arab Spring brought Kropotkin-vodka to Mubarak and Gaddafi. In Egypt and Libya, there was no sign of a regime overthrow, the government was eternal and endless, and even Egyptian opposition activists did not suspect a coup d’etat a month and a half before Tahrir. And now in Russia, the corrupt oligarchic regime is beginning to crack at the seams. And Putin is pissing himself, because he is most afraid of losing power. That is why we called our song “Putin has pissed himself.”
In the song “Putin got scared” we offer a scenario for a riot in Russia: for this, Russians are invited to occupy key places in the country and seek political change. Be braver than the scared Putin and his special services. In this hot and exciting time, when the political regime in Russia has been shaken, and Protester has been declared the face of the past year, anarchists, feminists, LGBT, as well as liberals, Madonna and Child, and all the saints have united in collective action.
There is a line in the song “For your and our freedom to punish with a whip.” We recall the events of 1968, the sit-in protest of dissidents on Red Square, after which they were tortured and sent to mental hospitals, prisons and exile. The same security forces that were in power under Brezhnev remained in power, they did not go anywhere. The forms of authoritarianism, control and state terror have changed. But the country is run by the same security forces, for whom knocking out teeth during interrogation is nothing. Our phrase “Patients are offered to accept conformity” refers to the measure of punishment that was used in the USSR, as well as to the fact that the authorities in Russia to this day treat their citizens as mentally ill and incapable of making decisions on their own.
After the song “Putin chickened out” was performed and before the arrival of the joint FSO detachment, the operatives negotiated with the members of the group, then began to carry us through the gates of the Lobnoye Mesto in their arms, afraid of harming us.
